Tomorrow (or rather, today) my parents are going to perform a surprise "intervention" of sorts to a family friend that is an alcoholic and is getting steadily worse. Of course, since she is an adult at over 50 years old, there's not much they can do but express their concern for their well being, say that they care about her and are worried about her.

But in all honesty, I am a bit worried about how this whole thing is going to go down. She has a very strong personality, doesn't listen to anyone when they try and tell her what to do. She will get defensive and angry. Then what? I just hope she doesn't go crazy and have the situation grow even worse.
